Reward Points Terms And Conditions

PRELIMINARY

  • "Reward Points" is a feature introduced on oweg.in website, Oweg mobile app, Oweg mobile website (all three collectively "Platform"), by the owner and operator of the Platform, Ascent Retechno India Pvt Ltd ("Oweg").
  • The following terms ("Terms") are part of and subject to the terms of use, privacy policy and other relevant documentation including any modifications, alterations or updates thereof, that are published on the Platform.

EARNING REWARD POINTS

  • In order to earn Reward Points on Oweg, You are required to place an order on the Platform, for a minimum of Rs.300 and above (the net order value will be taken into consideration which is total order value minus cancelled/returned item value ).
  • All Rewar Points earnings will be at the item level
  • For every Eligible Order in the Platform that You are eligible to earn 3 Reward Points, Oweg customers will earn 3X Reward Points. For example, for an order value of Rs 300 you earn 3 Points. Please note that the Reward Points earned will be on the actual order value excluding any instant discounts or cashbacks credited via payment partners. This will not be applicable for Super Partners and earning of Reward Points will be as per the respective Partner’s guidelines.
  • A maximum of 50 Reward Points can be earned in a single Eligible Order. For example, for an order value of Rs 2500 you earn 25 Reward Points. This scenario will not be applicable for Super Partners and will be applicable as per their Terms & Conditions.
  • For purchases made or transactions done with Super Partners on their respective platforms, applicability of Reward Points earning and redemption on particular products/services will be at the discretion of the Super Partner and as per Super Partner’s guidelines. Super Partner’s terms and conditions, in addition to these Terms, shall be applicable to any transactions made on their platforms.
  • Reward Points earned by you shall be linked to your phone number registered with Oweg.

CREDITING OF REWARD POINTS


  • Reward Points will be credited only after the expiry of the return period of all items/products in the Eligible Order. If there are multiple items/products in an Eligible Order, the highest return window will be considered. For Super Partners, Reward Points will be credited as per Super Partner’s guidelines.
  • If an Eligible Order gets cancelled / returned, the related Reward Points will get reversed.
  • In case of partial cancellation, if the net order value drops below Rs 300, then no Reward Points will be awarded. In case the order consists of non-returnable items only, Reward Points will be available to use at the end of the day of delivery.
  • In case of replacement request of any of the products in the Eligible Order, Reward Points will be credited only after the expiry of the return period of the replaced items/products in the Eligible Order.

EXPIRY OF REWARD POINTS

  • Reward Points will expire after 1 year at the end of the month in which they were credited to a user's account. Expiry of Reward Points only starts once these are credited into a user's accounts.

MERGING OF REWARD POINTS

  • Reward Points from another account can be combined in case you have multiple accounts in your name, subject to verification to the satisfaction of Flipkart that the accounts are held by the same individual.
  • Reward Points from any other account cannot be combined which does not mention your name and is not verified to the satisfaction of Flipkart. Reward Points cannot be gifted or transferred.

Usage of Reward Points

  • Reward Points cannot be converted to cash or used in lieu of cash.
  • Reward Points are not transferable. Any wrongful transfer of Reward Points shall be void ab initio.
  • Reward Points cannot be used for purchases on the Platform in lieu of cash.
  • All Reward Points accumulated on blacklisted accounts, as per applicable policies of Oweg, shall be cancelled with immediate effect.
  • Reward Points can be used across Platform. Reward Points once used will not be reversed. Oweg may share details of your earned Reward Points with Super Partners to facilitate usage. Your registered phone number with Oweg may be shared with Super Partners for this purpose.
  • Reward Points does not have any monetary value and customer will not be eligible for any monetary compensation in lieu of settlement against Reward Points or in case of loss of Reward Points

OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • These Terms are subject to change, at the sole discretion of Oweg, from time to time.
  • Oweg reserves the right to disqualify You from earning any Reward Points if any fraudulent/abuse/ reseller/affiliates activity is identified as being carried out for the purpose of earning Reward Points or if You have violated any Terms or applicable laws. Disqualification may result in immediate cancellation of all Reward Points in 'earned' or 'pending to be earned'.
  • These Terms are subject to the prevailing laws of India.
  • You acknowledge and confirm that You are aware of the nature of telecommunications/ internet services and that an email transmission may not be received properly and may be read or be known to any unauthorised persons. You agree to assume and bear all the risks involved in respect of such errors and misunderstanding and Oweg shall not be responsible in any manner.
  • Oweg disclaims all liability that may arise due to any violation of the applicable laws by You.
  • Oweg reserves the right to suspend the issue of Reward Points to you personally, or to all users temporarily or permanently at any time without notice.
  • In case of any dispute or difference arising concerning Reward Points or any alleged defect or deficiency of service availed, the same shall be resolved through arbitration as per the arbitration and the conciliation act 1996 and seat will be at Mumbai, Maharashtra.
  • Oweg reserves the right at any time to modify, withdraw or terminate 'Reward Points' as a feature on the Platform at its discretion, without any prior notice and without any liability or obligation in this regard.
  • You are not bound in any way to actively accumulate or use Reward Points. Any action towards using Reward Points is voluntary.
  • You hereby agree to indemnify and keep Oweg harmless against all damages, liabilities, costs, expenses, claims, suits and proceedings (including reasonable attorney's fee) that may be suffered by Oweg as a consequence of (i) violation of terms of this T&C by You; (ii) violation of applicable laws; (iii) any action or inaction resulting in willful misconduct or negligence on Your part.
  • This document is an electronic record in terms of Information Technology Act, 2000, and the Rules thereunder as applicable and the amended provisions pertaining to electronic records in various statutes as amended by the Information Technology Act, 2000. This electronic record is generated by a computer system and does not require any physical or digital signatures.
